Past Research Background: This experimental research work include development of Large-Scale Laser Laboratory Facilities and making almost impossible experiments to work. This work included optical design and development of computer controlled high power pulsed tunable laser system (P. S. Bhatia et al., Appl. Opt. 35 (21), 4152 (1996)) with very broad tuning range, development of computer controlled wavemeter (P. S. Bhatia et al., Appl. Opt. 38 (12), 2486 (1999)) for high-precision monitoring of very broadly tunable light pulse, development of the optical design of the highly sensitive Optically-Heterodyne pulsed spectrometer, investigation of high-field nonlinear optical effect on rotational and vibrational transitions in the Fermi-Resonance Region of diatomic/ triatomic molecules, and experimental demonstration of detection sensitivity i.e. Signal-to-Noise ratio (S/N) for nonlinear spectroscopy beyond the standard limit for Coherent Raman Spectrometers (P. S. Bhatia et al., Phys. Rev. A 59, 4045 (1999)). Work also include experimental development of semiconductor diode lasers with strong optical feedback and experimental demonstration (P. S. Bhatia et al., J. Opt. Soc. Am. B 18 (11), 1587 (2001)) of electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) and lasing without inversion(LWI) on the hyperfine transitions of extremely fine quality atomic line of Cesium (Cs) atom on which it is very difficult to operate an experiment. Subsequent research had been on quantum teleportation (C. H. Bennett et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 70 (13), 1895 (1993); S. Lloyd et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 87, 167903 (2001); S. Pirandola, et al., Nature Photonics 9, 641 (2015)) experiment using technique of cold-atom cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). Entanglement resource used in this experiment was two-particle EPR (Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen) Bell-States.
